Leg pain is a common symptom in our office. It can be caused by pinched nerves in the lower back, glutes, or by vertebral joints in the lower back. Only with a detailed examination can we have an accurate diagnosis to determine exactly what is causing the leg pain. Many times the leg pain is caused by muscle dysfunctions and joint irritation. This is much more common and often misdiagnosed as sciatica. Leg pain can also be caused by disc involvement, either a herniated or bulging discs, which creates pressure on the nerves in the low back resulting in leg pain. An accurate diagnosis is crucial for this treatment and one that we have a lot of experience over the years.
